A film opening usually consists of many different conventions, such as the name of the film, the names of the cast as an introduction to the characters, the names of the director and the producer. 


This can be done by using an appropriate font and can also be done by using other conventions such as the music/soundtrack, the graphics and the camera shots that attracts the audience. Alfred Hitchcock uses these conventions in his film opening PSYCHO.
